I have written this Powerball Neon Pro review to demonstrate that the device can be used for sports, fitness, injury therapy, or just plain enjoyment and has so far sold millions of devices across the world. Sometimes power waits in the smallest of places. The unassuming Powerball Neon Pro looks like a glorified baseball ball and yet this splendid little device is capable of generating you with up to 40 lbs of resistance. With the Powerball Neon Pro gyroscope you will have the benefit of being able to work out your hands, wrists and arms at anytime of the day whenever it suits you. You can more than easily use your Powerball while you watch television, read the newspaper, or simply when you have 10 minutes to kill. Using the device never really feels like exercise, it is more akin to playing with a toy such like a Yo-Yo. The device itself is a non-impact, hand held, self-propelled gyroscope contained in durable plastic shell and rubber grip. When spun, it can produce up to 40 pounds of torque and inertia for your benefit and enjoyment. This has the affect of strengthening and toning the muscles and tendons in your wrists, hands, arms and shoulders like no other device can.

On the Powerball Neon Pro version of the device, there is a LCD display screen (this is not found on the regular Powerball) that will shows you the current rpm of the device and will keep a record of your various scores. You will always want to come back and try one more time to beat that high score. The Neon element comes from LED’s positioned inside the device, these light up when the device is running, giving some funky light effects especially in dim light. The LED’s are powered entirely from the gyroscope spinning, the only part that uses battery power is the LCD counter. Currently the device is available with three different colours – amber, green and blue. There is also a white light “signature” version.
The Powerball Neon Pro is marketed as a sports and fitness training tool; however it has benefits for anyone and is increasing being used as a rehabilitation device. The toning and strengthening abilities of the device are quiet unique, working about 90% of the muscle groups in your arms and wrists. Using it in certain orientations will also have an effect on your shoulder and chest. Strength and flexibility will be increased in your muscles and grip if used on a regular basis.
As a side to the obvious Sports and fitness aspects of the Powerball Neon Pro, the device is also tremendously helpful to those who has suffered from repetitive strain injury (RSI) or carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). Due to the non-impact training the device provides, you can use it at lower speeds on a regular basis to generally improve the flexibility and strength of your joints allowing you to help avoid painful surgery.
